I'm Richard Nevins — Purdue Mechanical Engineer, Senior Program Manager in medical injection molding, and the person who got tired of watching great manufacturers run on broken workflows.
For years, I sat in production meetings where half the data was wrong, half the reports were built in Excel the night before, and the ERP was blamed for everything. I knew it didn't have to be that way.
I started building AI tools for my own team — automating the inspection reports, pulling data from the ERP automatically, building quality dashboards that actually updated in real time. The results were immediate: hours saved every week, fewer errors, less firefighting, and FDA audit prep that used to take weeks compressed to days.
I built those tools to solve my own problems first — including FloorOps, a full MES and quoting platform for injection molders. Now, through Precision AI Labs, I help manufacturers and service businesses find where AI fits in their operations and build the automations that actually move the needle.
