How FloorOps collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create a FloorOps account, we collect:
- Email address — used for authentication and communication
- Organization name — used to create your tenant in the system
- Facility name(s) and location(s) — used to organize your operational data
1.2 Operational Data
Data you enter while using the App:
- Production orders — part numbers, quantities, due dates, statuses
- Quality events — descriptions, severity, resolution notes
- Inspection records — checklist responses, pass/fail results, inspector names
- Photo attachments — images attached to quality events or inspections
- User-generated notes — any text you enter in forms or comments
1.3 Device & Usage Information
We may automatically collect:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Crash reports and error logs (via Sentry crash reporting)
- General usage patterns (screens visited, features used)
We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts or call logs, or microphone/camera data beyond photos you explicitly attach.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the service — authenticate your account, store and retrieve your operational data, sync across devices
- Improve the product — analyze usage patterns and crash reports to fix bugs and prioritize features
- Send notifications — push notifications for late orders, new quality events, and overdue inspections (only if you grant permission)
- Customer support — respond to questions, issues, or feedback you send us
- Billing — process subscription payments via Stripe (we do not store payment card data)
3. Data Storage
All operational data (production orders, quality events, inspections, photos) is stored in Supabase — a cloud database platform hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Your organization's data is logically isolated using Row Level Security policies. No other organization can access your data.

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or operational data to third parties.
We share data only with:
- Supabase — cloud database and storage provider
- Stripe — payment processing (they receive only billing information, not operational data)
- Sentry — crash reporting (receives device/app info and error traces, not your operational data)
- Apple / Google — as required for app distribution and in-app purchase processing
- Law enforcement — only if required by a valid legal process
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data is retained while your subscription is active and for 90 days after cancellation
- Deleted accounts: Data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Backups: Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 90 additional days
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to certain types of processing

7. Children's Privacy
FloorOps is intended for use by business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to deliver push notifications. These services may collect device tokens for the purpose of delivering notifications. You can opt out of notifications at any time through your device settings.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit
- AES-256 encryption for data at rest (via Supabase)
- Row Level Security policies to enforce data isolation
- Secure authentication via Supabase Auth (JWT-based)
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Sending an email to the address on your account
- Displaying a notice in the App at next launch
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
